Kit Contents

Application Recommendations
- Before coating, the vehicle must be fully clean and free of scratches. If needed, polish to an ideal gloss (by hand or preferably by machine) using SONAX PROFILINE polishes.
- After polishing, apply SONAX PROFILINE Prepare (237300) to a microfibre towel SONAX Microfiber Cloths Ultrafine (450700) and thoroughly wipe down the surface.
- Use the dedicated sponge from the kit. Apply several drops (8–10) of CC One to the light side of the sponge.
- Apply a thin layer using a cross-hatch pattern. Work sections of approximately 0.5 m² per pass (about 1/4 of the bonnet).
- If the applicator sponge begins to harden during use, switch to a new sponge.
- After a short flash time of approximately 3–5 minutes, remove residues using a new ultra-soft microfibre towel.
- Continue section by section until the entire vehicle is treated.
- Allow the coating to harden for at least 4 hours. During this time, the vehicle must remain in a clean, dry, dust-free bay and the surface must not be touched.
After Application
Allow at least 4 hours of hardening time in a clean, dry, dust-free environment. Do not touch the surface during this period.
Important Notes / Warnings
- Different paints/clear coats may react differently. Perform a small test first on an inconspicuous area.
- Test method (as described): treat ~30×30 cm and wipe one corner after 2 minutes; if wipe-off is very easy, wait 1 more minute and wipe a second corner; after another minute, wipe a third corner. Note the time when wipe-off becomes difficult—this is the longest workable interval for that paint system.
- Leaving the coating too long can cause difficult wipe-off and may result in streaks and spots.
