Waffle Weave Gray Matter is an ultra-soft microfiber towel with silky edges, crafted from a 70/30 microfiber blend. Its uniqueness lies in the waffle-textured grooves that trap liquids and dirt just like waffles hold syrup and butter—allowing for fast, streak-free drying and spotless surfaces.
Use this towel for:
- Quickly absorbing large amounts of water for instant drying
- Removing dirt without scratching the surface
- Effectively soaking up quick detailers for a flawless shine
- Wiping glass cleaners for crystal-clear clarity
- Zero risk of scratching delicate surfaces
- Premium, stylish auto detailing with the official Chemical Guys branding
Imagine pancakes or waffles drenched in syrup, where the grooves catch and hold the liquid instead of letting it spill over. The same principle applies to the Waffle Weave towel: unlike traditional microfiber towels with flat, short fibers, it features square pockets that instantly trap and absorb liquids. While ordinary towels often require repeated passes, the Waffle Weave gets the job done in one swipe!
Maximum Softness and Absorption. Whereas most microfiber towels come in a 40×40 cm size, Waffle Weave features a large 91×63 cm format to speed up drying of all surfaces. Cheap towels with harsh nylon edges can scratch paint while polishing or drying, but Waffle Weave Gray Matter is trimmed with silky-soft edges to ensure gentle care and zero chance of surface damage.
How to use:
- After washing your vehicle, wipe down the exterior using slow passes to remove remaining moisture.
- Thanks to its optimal thickness and absorbency, one pass is usually enough.
- For even better results, use in combination with After Wash Drying Agent for a streak-free, glossy finish.
- It’s recommended to wash the towel separately using Chemical Guys Microfiber Wash Detergent.
- Wash in hot water to maintain softness.
- Use 30 ml of detergent for small, 60 ml for medium, and 90+ ml for large loads.
- Tumble dry on low heat.
DO NOT use fabric softeners or other additives.
