International Shipping CarPRO Cquartz SiC is a next-generation coating developed from CarPro’s long-term experience with quartz coatings. The SiC (silicon carbide) component is intended to improve resistance to chemicals and water spotting, while increasing gloss and surface slickness.

Protection & Resistance
Designed to resist water spots and mineral deposits, and to withstand chemical exposure from acidic and alkaline solutions up to pH 13. Heat resistance is stated at 200°C.

Application Recommendations
- Before polishing, treat the vehicle with CarPro Iron X to maximise the finish.
- Use CarPro Tar X and a clay bar to remove bonded contamination.
- Correct the paint to achieve high gloss (this also helps extend coating performance).
- Wipe down the surface with CarPro Eraser.
- Apply 10–12 drops to a microfibre applicator.
- Spread evenly over a section of approximately 60×60 cm.
- After application, level and wipe off after 5 minutes using a lint-free microfibre towel.
- Remove all residue during wipe-off; check with proper lighting to ensure no spots or high areas remain.
- Replace microsuede towels after every two body panels.
- Additional layers: apply after 45–60 minutes, or wait 12 hours if the curing window exceeded 90 minutes. Two layers are recommended.
- Do not apply Reload as a top layer before full polymerisation.
After Application
- Avoid getting the surface wet for at least 3 hours after application (full polymerisation: 24 hours).
- Avoid detergents and chemicals for 5 days after application.
